This page explains what Eye Opening collects when you use this site, why we collect it, who else receives it, and how to have it deleted. It describes what this site actually does, and nothing it does not do.
Eye Opening is operated by A.I. JOE LLC at relieffordryeye.com. Where this policy says "we," it means A.I. JOE LLC.
What we collect
Your email address
If you enter your email address at the end of the quiz, we store it so we can send you your results and related follow-up. Entering it is optional. You can take the quiz and read your result type without giving us an email address.
Your quiz answers
The quiz asks about your eye symptoms, your environment, and your daily habits. We store those answers alongside your email address when you submit the form, so that what we send you matches the result you got. These answers describe your symptoms, so please treat them as personal health-related information and only share what you are comfortable sharing.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, our analytics and advertising tools record standard technical information such as the pages you view, the approximate region you are in, your device and browser type, and the site or ad that referred you.
Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-ZR2KBXV914, to understand how people move through the site. It sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data to Google. We use it to see which pages work and which do not. We do not send your email address or your quiz answers to Google.
Reddit advertising pixel
We use the Reddit advertising pixel, pixel ID a2_jfk94bvznl63, for advertising measurement. It tells us whether someone who arrived from a Reddit ad went on to take the quiz or buy the toolkit, so we can tell which ads are worth running. It sets cookies and sends event data to Reddit. We do not send your email address or your quiz answers to Reddit.
You can block both of these with most browser privacy settings or an ad blocker. The site works normally if you do.
What is stored in your browser
We store two small values in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us as personal information:
eoTypeholds the dry eye type your quiz produced, so your protocol and guide still match your result after you return from the payment page.eoPurchaseTrackedrecords that a purchase has already been counted, so a repeat visit to your confirmation page does not count the same order twice.
Clearing your browser data removes both.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you buy the toolkit you enter your card details on Stripe's own checkout page. Your card number never reaches this site and we never receive it or store it. Stripe tells us that a payment succeeded and gives us the information we need to support the order.
Affiliate links
Our recommended products page uses Amazon Associates links. If you buy through one of them, Eye Opening earns a commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon, not us, handles anything you do once you are on their site.
Who else receives your information
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services that make the site run:
- Netlify hosts the site and receives quiz form submissions.
- Google receives analytics data.
- Reddit receives advertising measurement data.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Our email provider receives your address so we can send you your results.
How to see or delete your information
Email eyeopening@voxcrea.ai and ask us to send you a copy of your information or delete it. Write from the address you gave us so we can find your record, and we will confirm when it is done.
Deleting your information removes your email address and your stored quiz answers. It does not remove payment records that Stripe is required to keep.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
Medical disclaimer
This quiz and its results are educational tools developed with input from licensed eye care professionals. They are not a medical diagnosis, do not replace a professional examination, and no doctor-patient relationship is created by using this site.
